10TV: OhioHealth HOOFit Walking Program Kicks Off at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

Each summer, OhioHealth and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium team up to offer the OhioHealth HOOFit walking program, which provides an in-depth look at the zoo’s many animals and shares insights on common health issues and concerns.

The event is held once each month through September (see the full schedule here). At each walk, Zoo staff and OhioHealth physicians lead walks through the zoo and provide insight into the animals and their habitats and health advice and information on topics ranging from chronic pain, listening to your body and the facts and myths about vaccines.

The HOOFit walk is an easy way to get your steps in for the day and is included with your paid Zoo admission or membership. Each walks starts at the Activity Pavilion next to Conservation Lake. To view the full schedule and to sign up for the next walk, visit ohiohealth.com/HOOFit.
