Behind the scenes: Inside the OhioHealth Lab

More than 13,000,000 tests are performed in the OhioHealth medical laboratories each year and every one of them is important to the patient waiting for that outcome. 

And every one of those tests, from cancer biopsies, to bacterial identification to cholesterol tests, has to be right so that a doctor can get that patient on the right track to recovery as quickly as possible.

More than 900 associates throughout the OhioHealth system work in this mostly anonymous world of scientists, chemists and specialists.
