Columbus Dispatch: "America in Action" at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center

Recently, Wisconsin resident Annie Weatherby-Flowers was unexpectedly hospitalized at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center while visiting family in Columbus. She was taken by paramedics to Grant after going into cardiogenic shock.

Annie recently spoke to Columbus Dispatch Metro columnist Theodore Decker about her time at Grant, especially her experience with the staff.

“People saw me, people knew my story and were really mindful of the lady who was on the road trip and came to their hospital,” she told the Dispatch.  “It took some of the fear from what I experienced.”

“That whole piece of what I experienced is why America is great,” she told the Dispatch. “The care and the people I met at Grant Medical Center was America in action.”
