Columbus Metropolitan Library Celebrates Birthday in Partnership With OhioHealth

In celebration of Columbus Metropolitan Library’s (CML) 150th birthday, OhioHealth and the library have partnered to gift 150th birthday-themed items to babies born at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center the week of March 4.

Families that welcome newborns at Grant between March 4 – March 11 will receive the following:

• A 150th anniversary tote filled with books
• A future reader onesie

“Celebrating our birthday with the next generation of readers on their birth day makes this milestone more special,” said library CEO Patrick Losinski. “We hope all of central Ohio joins us for even more festivities throughout the year.”

Grant Medical Center’s prime location across the street from Main Library, makes it a popular destination for hospital staff, patients and families.

“We are honored and excited to partner with the Columbus Metropolitan Library to gift special items to families welcoming their little ones to the world,” OhioHealth Grant Medical Center President Michael Lawson said, “We want to thank the library for including the families we serve in their celebration of 150 years.”
