OhioHealth Named To National Most Trusted Brand List

When you search for a healthcare partner, you are looking for truly everything.  You want someone who will care for you, when you need it the most.  Most of all, you want a trusted partner in your care

With the COVID-19 pandemic dominating the last three years of healthcare, some organizations have struggled to maintain that trust and consumer confidence.  It is something Monigle, one of the country’s largest independent brand consultancies, looked at with a recent Humanizing Brand Experience study in late 2022.

Below are the top 7 most trusted healthcare brands out of more than 200 brands evaluated in Monigle's 2023 Humanizing Brand Experience study.

1. Emory Healthcare (Atlanta)
2. University of Iowa Health Care (Iowa City)
3. Northwestern Medicine (Chicago)
4. Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minn.)
5. Johns Hopkins Medicine (Baltimore)
6. UT Southwestern Medical Center (Dallas)
7. OhioHealth (Columbus, Ohio)

Sue Jablonski, OhioHealth system senior vice president and chief marketing and communications officer says trust is critically important, with the communities, and those who come to work each and every day. She says the word trust is more than just a word, it's is in the company's vision statement.

"To provide exceptional care for all through experiences that earn a lifetime of trust."

"It's well known that trust is earned when your words match your actions," she said. "When it comes to caring for our communities, we keep our promises."

Jablonski told Becker's Health IT OhioHealth has kept its commitment to keep care "local" — even as it's grown into a 14-hospital system with more than 30,000 employees across 50 Ohio counties.

"We recognize and reward people because we know and truly believe that OhioHealth is not the bricks and mortar that you see throughout the region," Ms. Jablonski said. "OhioHealth is the people who each and every day put our patients first and are there for them when they need us most."
