OhioHealth Shelby Hospital to Offer Mobile MRI Services

OhioHealth Shelby Hospital will begin offering mobile MRI services one day per week beginning Wednesday, September 30. The new service brings advanced imaging closer to home for patients throughout the Shelby community.

A mobile MRI unit will be conveniently located near the imaging exit on the west side of Shelby Hospital. It will operate every Wednesday from 7:00 am to 4:15 pm. Additional service days will be added based on demand.

Patients scheduled for an MRI will follow the same familiar process as other imaging outpatients. Patients will be screened at the main entrance and then proceed to registration. After being registered, patients will be taken to the imaging waiting area, where a member of the team will guide them to the mobile MRI unit.
