10 Years: Dublin City Council Honors Dublin Methodist Hospital

Hospital President Steve Bunyard Accepts City Proclamation

10 years ago, OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital opened its doors. Last week, the city of Dublin honored the hospital, staff, and volunteers with a very special proclamation.

"It's hard to believe that Dublin Methodist Hospital is 10 years old. It is certainly a crown jewel for our community. As the Mayor, and along with the entire City Council, we congratulate OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital, for outstanding service and care to our community," said Dublin Mayor Greg Peterson.

Dublin Methodist Hospital President Steve Bunyard thanked the city of Dublin and said he is looking forward to decades to come.

"I am so proud of what we have built here in Dublin, and the amazing connections among our associates, physicians, volunteers, and patients. To have earned the trust of the community, to be a strong partner here in Dublin and Central Ohio, and to improve the health of those we serve is such a privilege.," Bunyard said.  "We have great people at Dublin Methodist and are certainly excited not only about the last 10 years, but the next 10," he added.

During the council meeting, Mayor Peterson presented Steve Bunyard with the proclamation which will be displayed at the hospital.
