10TV: Riverside Sewing Guild Makes Stockings for Newborns
Even though OhioHealth’s volunteer program was suspended in March due to COVID-19, the OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital Sewing Guilds (in their 97th year of operation!) with some adjustments, were able to continue many of their projects at home. The women of Guild 49 focus most of their efforts on the newborn baby Christmas stockings and hats, so they were able to continue their 53 year tradition of giving newborn babies at Riverside a Christmas stocking!
The Sewing Guilds also spent much of the spring and summer making masks and ear savers for OhioHealth - they donated over 2,500 items!
