All-Clear With Bomb Threat At OhioHealth Grant Medical Center

At 11:00 a.m., Columbus Fire and Police provided an all-clear to the bomb threat at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center. At this time, all hospital operations will continue as normal. If you are a patient who was scheduled for an elective surgical procedure, your physician or the hospital will be calling you directly to reschedule your surgery time.

Earlier this morning, we received a bomb threat. Our Protective Services and staff acted swiftly coordinating efforts with Columbus Police and Fire Departments. Several searches using K-9 units were conducted.

In an abundance of caution, it was decided to divert incoming ambulance patients from the Grant emergency department and also to delay some scheduled surgeries.

The care and safety of our patients, visitors and staff are of paramount importance.

We encourage our staff, visitors and patients to remain vigilant and if they see something suspicious to please contact a member of our staff or our Protective Services team.
