Columbus Crew Announces OhioHealth as First-Ever Jersey Sponsor for Defending MLS NEXT Pro Champions Columbus Crew 2

Columbus Crew today announced an expansion to its partnership with OhioHealth that will see the Club’s Official Healthcare Provider, and a partner since 1997, become the first-ever jersey sponsor for Columbus Crew 2. 

“We are excited to announce this addition to our long-standing partnership with OhioHealth,” said Columbus Crew President of Business Operations Kristin Bernert. “OhioHealth has been an integral part of the Black & Gold fabric since the Club’s inception, and we are proud to continue this relationship with an organization that like the Crew, is dedicated to positively impacting our community. Today marks an exciting moment in our shared history and we are looking forward to seeing Crew 2 begin their title defense in the new kits when the MLS NEXT Pro season kicks off on March 26.” 

The OhioHealth logo will be prominently displayed on the front of Crew 2’s primary and secondary jerseys, as well as on the team’s training gear. OhioHealth has been featured on the First Team’s training gear since 2017. 

The Crew 2 jersey sponsorship is an expansion of the Crew and OhioHealth’s long history. A partner of the Club since 1997, OhioHealth was announced as a "Founding Partner" and as the official healthcare provider of the Crew in February of 2020, marking the organization’s commitment to the new era of the Black & Gold. Since June 2021, the entire Crew soccer operations – from the First Team to the Academy – have been located at the state-of-the-art OhioHealth Performance Center.

Crew 2 begins defense of their title on the road against New York Red Bulls II on Sunday, March 26 and hosts New England Revolution II for the home opener at Historic Crew Stadium on Sunday, April 16.
