Ginni Ragan and All Life Foundation Commit $2 Million to Establish Endowed Chair in Healthcare Leadership at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital

Ginni Ragan, her sons and their families, and the All Life Foundation have committed $2 million to the OhioHealth Foundation, establishing the Dempsey, Ragan, McNamara Family Endowed Chair in Healthcare Leadership. The gift commitment further supports the strategic priorities of the president of OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital.

This historic pledge marks the first endowed chair at OhioHealth to be held by a hospital president. Funds from the endowment will be directed toward programs and services at Riverside Methodist Hospital at the discretion of its president, ensuring continued investment in patient care, innovation and operational excellence.

Endowed chairs are distinguished and honorary appointments that recognize the exemplary performance of a clinical or administrative leader.

A longtime philanthropic partner of Riverside Methodist Hospital and a current member of the Riverside Methodist Hospital Development Board, Ragan was motivated to make this gift in recognition of Riverside Methodist Hospital’s impact on the community and the leadership of hospital president Rob Cercek, who will serve as the inaugural chairholder.

For more than 30 years, Ragan and the All Life Foundation have been dedicated supporters of Riverside Methodist Hospital, directing extraordinary gifts to advance cancer care, women’s health, neuroscience, education, spiritual care and nursing excellence. Their philanthropy has supported initiatives such as the Judith Dempsey Hook Cancer Care Patient Navigation Program, the Dempsey Family Patient Care Unit, the Women’s Center, the Dempsey Family Education and Resource Center, and the renovation of the Dempsey-Ragan-McNamara Chapel and Meditation Sanctuary.
