NBC4: United in the Fight Against Cancer, A Community Conference Presented by OhioHealth

Recently, Mary Szczepanik, manager of cancer navigation at OhioHealth, appeared on Daytime Columbus to discuss United in the Fight Against Cancer, A Community Conference, presented by OhioHealth.  Mary is leading a break out session on "Caring for the Caregiver" - how those caring for someone battling cancer can take care of themselves, too.

It's a first-of-its-kind event that brings together the entire cancer community – survivors, patients, family and expert physicians.

Experts from MD Anderson Cancer Center, ranked one of the top cancer hospitals in the nation, will share the latest advancements on their groundbreaking Moon Shots Program, aimed at rapidly reducing deaths from several major cancers.

Connect and learn during a full day of cancer support and empowerment.

Portions of the program will be simulcast nationally to other MD Anderson Cancer Network® sites to further the message of hope and unite us in the fight against cancer.
