Nursing a Friendship

As the first black nurses on their units at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in the 80s, Yvonne Cecil, RN, MSN, and Sonia Booker, RN, MSN, made history, became mentors and created their own noteworthy careers. We sat down with the two friends to talk about what brought them together, how they grew their friendship while they built their nursing experience and the hopes they have for future generations.
