OhioHealth and Michael J. Fox team up for an evening of hope and laughter

WHAT: OhioHealth welcomes Parkinson’s advocate Michael J. Fox to the Ohio Theatre

WHEN: Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 6:30 p.m.

WHERE: Ohio Theatre
               39 East State Street
               Columbus, Ohio
               43215

WHY: Parkinson’s disease is a movement disorder that affects as many as one million individuals in the United States alone. Symptoms of the disease includes tremors and movement and balance difficulty. The symptoms can worsen and continue over time. At OhioHealth, it’s one of the many neuroscience conditions we treat and will continue to put even more resources into at the new OhioHealth Neuroscience Center, where we are leading a new standard of highly complex neuroscience care.

At the event, guests will be able to hear Fox’s story of his own life with Parkinson’s. They’ll also have the chance to learn how OhioHealth never stops when looking for ways to treat and eliminate neuroscience conditions – like Parkinson’s.
