OhioHealth Bringing Enhanced Neuroscience Services To Renovated Lane Avenue Building

Investment Will Improve Neuroscience Care, Add Flexibility and Future Growth Potential for Health System

OhioHealth continues to invest in its neuroscience footprint throughout the region and has recently purchased a building and adjacent land located at 1480 W. Lane Avenue in Upper Arlington.  A substantial portion of the 55,000 square foot, three-story building will be allocated for neuroscience care. The convenient location will provide for easy access for patients and their families.

“OhioHealth has invested in recent years in the neuroscience program with the Neuroscience Center at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital, the Neuroscience Wellness Center, and Neurological Rehabilitation in Upper Arlington and Westerville,” said Brian Jepson, president, OhioHealth central market.  “This building on Lane Avenue gives our neurological physicians a soon-to-be newly renovated location to continue to provide amazing care at a great location for our patients, giving them ease of access in a vibrant area.”

This location adds to the already 30 neuroscience locations, within 50 Ohio counties OhioHealth serves, providing nationally recognized, patient-centered care.

“By acquiring this new space and seeing an opportunity for future growth in this high demand, robust service line, we are well positioned for our experts in multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, movement disorders and stroke to further excel in providing an interdisciplinary approach to best care for patients,” Jepson said.  “At this same time, growing our footprint, and bringing neurological care even close to home, helps us to achieve our goal of meeting patients where they are in their healthcare journey.”

Planning for the $10 million dollar renovation is currently underway with completion targeted for spring of 2024.
