OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital Pharmacy Team Shines With Statewide Recognition
At the heart of a growing community, OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital continues to be a trusted place for care. The teamwork and dedication to patients comes from every department, each person working together to deliver compassionate, high-quality care every day.

Behind the Scenes of Patient Care
The Dublin Methodist pharmacy department plays a vital role in supporting both patients and care teams, enhancing patient safety. They oversee all inpatient medication management and serve the OhioHealth Dublin Cancer Center across the street.
The department includes 35 dedicated associates comprised of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and interns. Pharmacy technicians are vital to hands on daily operations, including ordering and stocking medications, compounding prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and ensuring timely deliveries. They also gather medication histories for patients being admitted to the hospital. Working alongside the technicians are the department’s pharmacists, who attend rounds, review and verify orders for appropriateness, and respond to emergencies.
Recognizing Leadership and Impact
Among this exceptional team is Lyndsey Fulton, CPhT, CSPT, lead certified pharmacy technician and recipient of this year’s Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacy (OSHP) Pharmacy Technician of the Year award. The honor recognizes technicians who show outstanding leadership, performance, and dedication to the team, patient care, and the pharmacy profession.
“I am truly humbled and honored to receive the OSHP Pharmacy Technician of the Year Award this year,” Fulton said. “Not only does it recognize my contributions to pharmacy operations but most importantly, it has recognized the care I have for my team. Every day, I am reminded that what we do truly matters.”
Since joining Dublin Methodist in 2023, Lyndsey has led numerous improvements in workflow, technology, and training. She began her OhioHealth career at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in 2018 and holds a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Arizona, along with certifications from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and American Society of Health-System Pharmacy (ASHP).
As lead technician, Lyndsey has helped the pharmacy run more efficiently. She’s helped improve how medications are stored and tracked, introduced new technology to make filling prescriptions faster and safer, and found ways to use resources wisely while keeping medications available when patients need them.
“Lyndsey is a very knowledgeable resource and always makes herself available to teach others, answer questions, or help the team out,” said Jill O’Brien, pharmacy site manager at Dublin Methodist. “She works hard to motivate our team to continuously improve and is open to feedback and suggestions that will help make this possible.”
A Leader Who Lifts Others
Lyndsey’s leadership has been key to the success of Dublin Methodist’s Technician Trainee Program, where every participant has earned certification and joined the team.
“Lyndsey leads with clarity and heart, setting goals that challenge her team, while always encouraging growth through curiosity and collaboration,” said O’Brien.
Beyond her daily responsibilities, Lyndsey also serves on several OhioHealth committees and initiatives, including the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Onboarding Standardization Goal Deployment Team, and the DMH/GMH Accreditation Committee. Lyndsey completed the OhioHealth Emerging Leader Program in 2024 and represents the pharmacy at community events, such as high school healthcare camps and career readiness programs.
“In addition to everything she does to keep our operations running smoothly, Lyndsey creates a positive, inclusive work environment,” O’Brien said. “She truly cares about her coworkers’ well-being, development and happiness inside and outside of the workplace.”
“Every person plays an essential role in the care we provide, and I am so proud to serve as a reflection of our dedication with this award,” Fulton said. “I am truly inspired by them all. It has also been one of the greatest privileges to work under an all-female leadership team. This includes me, our Clinical Coordinator, Heather Roecker, Pharmacy Manager, Jill O’Brien, and Pharmacy Director, Kellie Musch. I am so grateful for their guidance and encouragement.”
