OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital has announced its participation in a national effort to enhance care for patients with life-threatening blood clots, known as pulmonary embolism (PE). This initiative is part of the American Heart Association's new Target: Pulmonary Embolism quality improvement initiative, supported by Stryker Peripheral Vascular.
“OhioHealth is honored to be one of just 20 hospitals in the country invited to work with the American Heart Association in this important initiative,” Michael Jolly, MD, FACC, OhioHealth Cab Lab Medical Director, said. “This opportunity reflects the deep expertise of our clinicians and teams, as well as our ongoing commitment to advancing high-quality care for patients with pulmonary embolism and other complex cardiovascular conditions.”
