More than six and a half million Americans suffer from Peripheral arterial disease or PAD, a condition caused by plaque buildup in the legs that can make simple activities like walking a painful experience.

But OhioHealth has launched a new PAD rehabilitation program specifically for PAD sufferers that is designed to delay the onset of leg pain and stop the disease from progressing.

In this OhioHealth Medical Minute, Marcus talks with Cardiologist Anne Albers, MD, medical director of the PAD Rehab, about the new program, how it works and who's a good candidate.
