OhioHealth names vice president to lead employed physician operations in North Region

COLUMBUS, Ohio — OhioHealth announced today that David P. Miller has been named vice president, North Region, Dave MillerOhioHealth Physician Enterprise (OPE). Miller is currently vice president of Operations for the OhioHealth Marion Area Physicians (MAP.) OPE is the parent organization for all of OhioHealth employed physician groups.

In his new role, Miller will provide executive and administrative leadership in the development of ongoing practice operations in the North Region and have oversight of all employed physician activities in that area. This includes MAP, OhioHealth Physician Group (OPG) and MedCentral Professional Foundation (MPF.)

“Dave is excited to begin working with physicians in other communities,” said Staci Lucius, chief operating officer, OPE. “And to coordinate their work with the needs of our hospitals and our patients in the North Region.”

Miller spent 28 years with Marion-based Smith Clinic before it joined OhioHealth in 2012. He was named vice president, Operations of MAP in 2012. Just last year, his role expanded to include oversight of Marion General’s Outpatient Services on the Marion Medical Campus.

“As OhioHealth and the OhioHealth Physician Enterprise continue to grow,” added Lucius, “it is important that we coordinate our planning, operations and vision. Dave has tremendous experience in this area and we are very excited about what he will bring to this new role.”
