OhioHealth Supports Salvation Army’s Pack-a-Sack Events

OhioHealth is proud to support The Salvation Army’s Pack-a-Sack initiative, a program dedicated to fighting food insecurity in the Marion community. So far, two events have already helped nearly 2,400 people.

The Pack-A-Sack events, organized by The Salvation Army and supported by OhioHealth, provide essential food items to individuals and families in need. Following two events held in February and March, there is a third Pack-a-Sack event scheduled for April 11th.

“It’s great to see the power of collaboration,” said Jim Parobek, president of OhioHealth Marion General Hospital. “By partnering with The Salvation Army for the Pack-a-Sack initiative, we are helping to address food insecurity and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.”
