Final Grant Incident Update, 3/28/17, 11:00 a.m.

We have concluded our investigation of the events at Grant Medical Center and have taken appropriate action relative to the officers involved. Our investigation has concluded that our officers acted according to our internal protective services policies and procedures.

However, we have learned from this experience and will continue to improve moving forward including developing some additional organizational training to make sure we all are complying with our policies in a way that is reflective of our values. Our associates work hard, day in and day out, to care for, protect and serve our patients and their families.

We are committed to living our values in all that we do and we look forward to continuing that care for our community using the learnings from this unfortunate event.
