A Bright Future: OhioHealth Grady Memorial Hospital Unveils New Illuminated Sign
On Wed, July 23, OhioHealth Grady Memorial Hospital hosted a lighting ceremony for all associates and community members to unveil a brand-new illuminated sign at the entrance of the hospital. The sign was a necessary advancement that will help to enhance visibility of the hospital and create a better first impression for all patients and families. The signage also captures Grady Memorial’s commitment to support their growing community through innovation.
“This moment was about so much more than flipping a switch. It was a celebration of what’s possible when people come together around a shared vision," Cherie Smith, PhD, MBA, RN, president of OhioHealth Grady Memorial Hospital and OhioHealth Dublin Memorial Hospital. "Seeing the signs light up was powerful; it reflected months of hard work, dedication, and a deep belief in the future of Grady Memorial. I couldn’t be more proud of our team and what this symbolizes for our hospital, our staff, and the community we serve.”
The operation of the sign was made possible due to the collaboration of the facilities, operations and leadership teams at Grady. The event will have music, festivities and a Kona Ice Truck to commemorate the moment.
“Seeing the signs light up for the first time was truly a moment of pride," Amalia Federer, manager of business operations at Grady Memorial said. "After months of collaboration, planning, and teamwork across so many different areas, it all came together. Watching that glow spread across the building felt like more than just lights turning on, it was a symbol of progress and possibility. It was incredible to witness our team’s hard work shine so brightly, literally and figuratively.”
